aspire is a small library built in Hiki, Saitama, Japan.

 

It is finely made and designed with extreme delicacy and Tewaza skill of Kumiko shoji, Edo-suminagashi, Okagura; Japanese traditional architectural style, and constructed with solid cedar wood which is carefully selected and pruned in Yoshino, Nara, Japan.

aspire holds 3,500 valuable books specialized in art and architecture collected from domestically and overseas, as well as very detailed free-hand blueprints written by Takao Habuka.

You can pick up and browse those books freely in this amazing architecture, and the fantastic view of Hiki mountain.

 

 

This architecture, aspire will last for three hundred years as it is.
